Gresham Bible Church Update
I have received many positive reports about Bob Schilling's sermon on Sunday. Praise God! This summer, GBC will be served by Bob and others as they fill the pulpit until the next lead pastor arrives. We are blessed to have so many gifted preachers and teachers in the church.
Here is what's happening in the life and ministry of GBC
Trauma Training May 18th in the Study: Children's Ministry feels it is extremely valuable to grow in how we serve our GBC kids! From foster care to adoption, we have the unique opportunity to love and teach lots of different kids. If you would like to join Megan, Lisa, and many of our teachers for this training to help collaborate how GBC can best grow in this area, please email Lisa Perez. Please RSVP by May 15th. The training will include the following:
*Risk factors for trauma
*Adverse Childhood Experiences
*The impact of trauma
*How fear drives behavior
*Practical strategies to connect in relationship
Student Ministry WILL be meeting this Sunday as normal with our new times. Jr High meets from 530-7pm and High School from 7-9pm in the study. Also a heads up that they WILL be meeting on Sunday, May 26th of Memorial Day weekend as well.
