May 11, 2017 Admin GBC

Church Family,

I want to offer encouragement to you this week with a sermon that was preached by Ligon Duncan on Psalm 88. If you are suffering, I trust that this message will be a balm to your weary soul.

Here is how you can pray for GBC and our work in the world

  • Please pray for the elder ministry in our church. The office can be demanding, but the joys are abundant. Pray that qualified men would aspire to the noble task of overseeing the Lord’s church. Pray for vision to see the significance of the elder’s ministry and for boldness to forsake other commitments in the pursuit of serving others.

Here is what’s happening in the life of the church

  • Church Picnic! June 25th

I am looking forward to our annual picnic. Our special events coordinator, Nicole Chase needs your help to make this event a success. She’s looking for a few people to help lead some of the smaller projects involved in the church picnic on June 25th. Contact Nicole if you would like to help @ nill.chase@gmail.com
