Update Email 12.7.2017
GBC’s fiscal year follows the calendar year. We depend on your generosity all year long and especially at the end of the year to meet our budget and giving target. This Christmas season, as you reflect on all that the Lord has given us in Christ, consider responding with an end-of-year gift to GBC. Also, please keep in mind that all 2017 giving must be postmarked or received by December 31st.
Below is a very full update on the life and ministry of GBC.
Here is how you can pray for GBC and our work in the world
- Let’s pray this week for God-given compassion and vision to respond to injustice and suffering in our community. Pray that the Lord would give us wisdom and boldness to effectively minister to the downcast.
Here is what’s happening in the life of the church

GBC kids have been practicing a few classic Christmas carols and their verse, Isaiah 9:6, each week in class! They will be sharing these with us on Dec. 24th during our family friendly service, as there are no classes that day. Marc will ask them to come up after communion to join him in leading the last set of worship. Lisa and Megan will have risers available and will be up front to situate them.
