Gresham Bible Church Update

March 8, 2018 admin

I pray that this email finds you rejoicing in the hope of glory.

Below is a brief update on the life and ministry of GBC.

Here is how you can pray for GBC and our work in the world

  • Please continue to pray for our series in John's Gospel. Pray that God's word would succeed and accomplish his purposes.

Here is what's happening in the life of the church

  • Dexter McCarty Parking
Construction has begun on the new East Gresham Elementary School. Therefore, parking will no longer be allowed in the parking lot connecting East Gresham Elementary and Dexter McCarty Middle Schools. However, the front lot and the back lot will be available as well as 5th street.

  • Spring Forward
Remember to "Spring Forward" on Saturday night by setting your clocks ahead by one hour.

  • Haiti Info Meeting next Friday
Dr. Guesly Dessieux is coming on Friday March 16th, 7-9pm, to talk about Project Living Hope and to talk about our upcoming GBC Haiti trip. Dessert, coffee and tea provided.

  • Women's Retreat April 21st 9am-3pm
GBC ladies! Registration is LIVE for the Women's Ministry day retreat. Here's the link to register online or you can also look for a registration form on the resource table at church on Sunday.

  • Summer camp scholarships
Emily Prodan will be at the resource table to hear memory verses before service, during fellowship time, and after service.

  • Baptism Class
Our next baptism class will be Sunday, March 18th right after the service in the Harvest room. This class is open to people exploring baptism and those ready to go public with their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Student Ministry YBL 2k18
Thank you for your continued prayers for Student Ministries! In our sixth week we read Psalm 119 a total of 62 times. This coming week we are excited to read 1 John!

Our Upcoming Gathering
