Gresham Bible Church Update
I have had many occasions to boast about God's work in and through GBC. Our gathering on Sunday gives me yet another opportunity to rejoice in you all. Thank you for the compassion that you showed a new family with disabilities. Already, God has blessed us with a rich diversity of people in our church. All the time we are learning more and more how to love and support others not like ourselves. Thank you for bearing with us.
Below is a brief update on the life and ministry of GBC.
Here is how you can pray for GBC and our work in the world
Please pray for myself and a number of other men from GBC who will be attending a 9marks conference this weekend on the ministry of the word in the local church. Pray that we are strengthened and equipped.
Here is what's happening in the life of the church
Women's Bible Study: Tonight, Feb. 27th, GBC study 7-9pm
Attention Parents: INTERNET SAFETY SEMINAR: Tomorrow Feb. 28th, 6:30-8:30pm in the Study.
Children's Ministry: Our March Verse Card is now available. Parents, this is a good way to help your children hide God's word in their hearts.
Baptism Class: Our next baptism class will be Sunday, March 18th right after the service in the Orchard room. This class is open to people exploring baptism and those ready to go public with their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Student Ministry YBL 2k18
We had another remarkable week in the Student Ministry Year of Biblical Literacy. Each week the students are challenged to thoughtfully increase their bible intake from the week before as well as spur each other on to reading more. This last week Jonah was read 367 times for a total of 1,468 chapters! We celebrate God’s work and ask for continued prayer. This week's challenge is Psalm 119.
Homeless Care Bags available on Sundays at the Resource table.
Summer Camp Scholarships applications are available on the Resource table.
If you prefer to automate your giving to GBC, you can do so by signing up with bill pay through your personal bank. All you need is our office mailing address: 123 E. Powell Blvd #207, 97030. Email Noel with any questions.
